Here is (finally) the second look of my star-sign inspired series.
I know I’m a little late with this one but this make-up look is inspired by Aquarius- my star sign.
Aquarius’ are born between January 21st and February 19th, and belong to the Air element of the zodiac. They are described as independent, analytical, objective, clever, and … well, sometimes a bit chilly.
(We don’t do feelings, ok?)
The Aquarius colour spectrum mostly of consists of blues and purples, but can also incorporate pops of bright primary colours.
This is the look I came up with based on these colours:
To achieve this look I used my Urban Decay Elements Palette, Jeffree Star x Shane Dawson Mini Controversey Palette, and my old Virgin Cosmetics Golden Eye Shimmer palette.
- I started with this matte, purple/taupe colour in my crease as my transition colour.
- Then I placed the deep blue from the Elements palette all over the lid and blended it out.
- I tapped some concealer onto the center of my lid with my finger, and placed the gold colour on top, blending either side.
- Lastly, I ran the purple shaded along my lower lashline.
