It was lovely being able to get dressed up again after so long. The dress I wore is from Boohoo.com and I’m a bit obsessed with it!
We took an Uber to the Tall Ship Glenlee in Govan. The Glenlee was built in 1896 on the River Clyde at the Bay Yard, Port Glasgow by Anderson Rodger & Co. She is one of just five Clyde-built steel sailing ships still afloat, and the only one in the UK.
We walked onboard the historic ship and were met with the most romantic setting: chairs set out across the deck in little groups, bathed in flickering candlelight, beneath strings of lights. A small bar offered drinks and peanuts, while soft piano notes lingered in the air.
Welcome to Fever’s Live Candlelit Jazz Club.
It was one of the most magical nights we’ve had in a while! Just hearing live music again after so long gave me a lump in my throat. Not to mention the band was amazing! They did an incredible rendition of Louis Armstrong’s What a Wonderful World.
I highly recommend downloading the Fever app to see if they offer this event (or any others) near you!
