My Pamper Routine

Face Mask

Once I’ve had a hot, steamy shower, washed my hair and face and shaved if I feel like, I dry off and pop on a face mask.

This time I used my favourite Glam Glow mask: the flashmud brightening treatment.

It feels so cooling and soothing on my skin, and smells so fresh!

Conditioner

In my hair, I apply a generous amount of the R&B Hair Moisturiser by Lush as a leave-in conditioner/ hair mask, and let it soak in as my mask dries.

Fresh Bedding

While I have my mask and conditioner in, I like to change my bed and do any washing or tidying up that needs doing.

This might not seem relaxing, but having a nice clean home is part of my self-care routine, and there’s nothing better than crisp, clean sheets when you’re having a pamper.

Light Candles

I also light some candles to make everywhere feel extra cosy and smell great.

These are the o.w.n candle tropical vegan wax melts, and they smell good enough to eat!

Moisturise

After that, I wash my mask off and rinse my hair.

On my face I then use the Eucerin Dermo Purifyer toner and Superdrug Vitamin C Day Cream.

And on my body I apply the Xpel Cocoa Butter Body Cream- this is a really thick cream but soaks into the skin really quickly and leaves it feeling soft and lovely almost immediately.

Paint nails

I take off my old nail varnish, moisturise my hands and nails using the Body Shop Vitamin E hand treatment, then apply a new coat of polish.

I love to use the Barry M Gelly Shine nail paint (the one below is in Suger Plump) and the H&M clear top coat.

Combined, they stay on longer than most other nail polishes I’ve tried.

Wind Down

Lastly, once I’d pampered, I make a point of putting my phone away, making a cup of herbal tea and either watching a series or reading a book.

This time, I finished watching Supernatural season 14, which was great!
