1. Creativity and Madness by Albert Rothenberg
This is an interesting book on the psychology of creativity and its links so madness (alcoholism, mental health, etc).
It’s really easy to read, considering the topics it covers. When I started to read it I found I couldn’t put it down, and finished it the same day.
2. Walking Shoes
My boyfriend and I decided that we were going to try walking more on our days off so I bought some new walking shoes from Northwest Territory.
They have memory foam insoles which make them so comfortable! I always get blisters from shoes but not these, which is why they are one of my favourites.
3. Herbal Bath Oil
I got the Kneipp Herbal Bath Sweet Dreams Oil as part of a vegan beauty box I got for my birthday. I don’t actually own a bath but I put a few drops in a bowl of hot water and soak my hands and feet, or use it as a massage oil- it’s heavenly!
Afterwards, I take the bowl into the shower because it smells so relaxing and makes my skin so soft!
I’m also going to take it on holiday if I ever stay somewhere with a bath.
4. Poutine
I’ve been obsessed with vegan poutine lately. I don’t know why but there’s just something about cheese curds, gravy and chips and sings to me.
I had it at Bread Meats Bread and Bloc+ in Glasgow, and then made it myself at home. I can’t get enough!
5. Bowling
I hadn’t been bowling in ages, but this week we went to LA Bowl in Ayr and I loved it! I think it’s a great way to spend a night with a group of friends.
This time it was just me and my boyfriend this time, but it was still a lot of fun. (I won :P) And afterward, we ate Chinese food, had a drink and watched Game of Thrones.
It was a great day!
